April 22 & 23 marks the return of Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County's signature fundraiser, Jump into Jewels, the first time the event has been held in person since 2019.
Habitat is thrilled to partner with NextHome Rustic Realty which hosts the legendary pop-up accessory shopping experience in their newly renovated headquarters at 3306 Kelley Drive in East Cheyenne.
The award-winning, locally-owned real-estate company acquired the building, originally built as a church in 1961, last year. They've since transformed it inside and out to meet the needs of their growing team. Featuring a farmhouse industrial aesthetic, with open beam vaulted ceilings, sleek concrete flooring, and large windows merging indoor and outdoor spaces, this 6,000 square foot space is inviting, modern, and the perfect place to spend a little time browsing the thousands of pieces of jewelry, purses, scarves, and other accessories that Jump into Jewels is famous for.
Kari Happold, Broker/Owner of NextHome Rustic Realty, was glad to offer their headquarters when team member and long-time Jump Into Jewels volunteer, Realtor Amy Bennett, mentioned Habitat was looking for a host. "Our motto is 'putting people first, so we look for ways to give back to the community when we can; we think our space will be a good fit for Jump into Jewels and look forward to welcoming the community for a good cause" said Happold.
Soon, volunteers will transform the high style, Wyoming-inspired space into a pop-up boutique shopping experience like no other. Thousands of pieces of jewelry, purses, scarves, and other accessories, most with price points between $1-10, will be available, along with bargains on high-end pieces and brands like Coach, Kate Spade, and others.
Event Chair, Wendy Soto, notes that the selection for this year's event will be incredible since donations have been coming in since the last in-person event was held in 2019. "We've missed our in-person signature event and can't wait for everyone to see all of the wonderful items that have been donated since we were last able to gather; I think this year's Jump into Jewels will be the best one yet," said Soto.
There are three ways to enjoy Jump into Jewels. For first dibs on the bargains, join us on Friday, April 22, from 4:30-7:30 PM for our Happy Hour Preview Party. For our Classic Jump into Jewels Experience, join us on Saturday, April 23, from 10 AM- 1 PM for our Champagne Brunch. Finally, if you'd rather not buy a ticket to the event, Jump into Jewels is free and open to the public on Saturday, April 23, from 1-4 PM.
All proceeds from the event support Habitat for Humanity's 2022 build season and CRMCs Mother/Baby Unit.
