Past Habitat Partner Families on what Home-ownership Means to Them.

Updated: Nov 30, 2021

Habitat Home-ownership changes lives. When the community comes together to offer a local family a hand-up on the path to owning their own home, it's an expression of love for our neighbors and a long-term investment in the strength, stability, and self-reliance of our community.

Your generous support of Habitat for Humanity makes stories like these possible.

This season, some of our past Habitat Partner Families shared some of the things they're thankful for and the ways home-ownership has affected their families.

Yovanna & Ossiel were Habitat's 2017 Partner Family. Today, they are raising their three kids and spending quality time together as a family. Learn more about their experience here.

Audrey was one of Habitat's FOUR Partner Families in 2018. Today, she's a proud mom of a daughter about to graduate from high school and not afraid to set big goals. Learn more about her experience here.

Jaime was Habitat's 2020 Partner Family. After a year of building under extraordinary circumstances that challenged the entire world, Jaime reflects on the stability he and his children are now able to build on. Learn more about his experience here.

As the year comes to a close, we hope you'll consider a donation to Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County. Your support will make more stories like these for families in need in our community.
