The Fresh Start Fund

The Fresh Start Fund helps those transitioning out of homelessness or escaping domestic violence with resources to furnish a new home.

Clients of Family Promise, Safehouse Services, and The Unaccompanied Students Initiative will be given a budget, depending on their needs, to purchase furniture and household items from the Habitat ReStore's inventory of items donated from the community and business partners.

You can help neighbors find stable ground by donating items to the ReStore or

donating directly to the fund.

Together, we'll support those doing the hard work to find their own Fresh Start.

" A house to a family is like soil to a plant.  A plant needs to be rooted. A family is like that.  If a family is not rooted, it will not flourish.  Once a family is well rooted, all kinds of wonderful things will begin to happen."

- Habitat Founder, Millard Fuller
