Partnerships

Lowe's of Cheyenne has been partners with Habitat for Humanity since the beginning.  The staff holds workshops for our Women Build Week to teach women different construction skills like the installation of exterior siding or putting up drywall.  Women learn to use tools and paint both inside and outside.  Lowe's also donates items to the Habitat ReStore on a regular basis.

GreenSheen Paint Co. is a paint recycling enterprise and Habitat partner.  This amazing company based in Englewood, CO, takes in leftover drips and dribbles from Colorado/Wyoming residents and turns it into a quality latex enamel! The resulting product is then sold in our ReStore for $14/gallon and $65/5 gallon bucket. Twice a year, the HFHLCI ReStore holds a paint recycling event called a "Paint Round Up".  GreenSheen comes to our parking lot and takes your leftover latex paint and stain for a recycling fee of $3/gallon by volume (not by can!). The next Roundup has been scheduled for Saturday, October 8th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Let's keep that paint out of the landfill!

Whirlpool is a partner with Habitat Affiliates all over the country.  They provide "Gift-In-Kind" donations to new Habitat homeowners in the form of appliances.  Homeowners in Laramie County receive a refrigerator and range free of charge thanks to this incredible partnership!

Kaiser Flooring is the newest business partner of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.  This extraordinary company donates wood flooring, carpet, tile, and flooring materials of all kinds to the ReStore.  These brand new items are sold for 50% to 70% off to the public in order to raise funds to build more Habitat homes in Cheyenne and Laramie County.  Welcome, Kaiser Flooring!
